Toni Frissell was born in New York City named Antoinette Frissell. She was famous for photographing fashion, World War II, portraits of famous Americans and Europeans, children, and women from all walks of life. She liked photographing women and empowering them, showing how they were strong and independent. She emphasized they were active as in fashion shoots she would choose outdoor locations for even the smartest of gowns.
Alin Ciortea:
I think that Alin Ciorteas work is often quite dark looking and are quite eerie.
Sally Mann:
Sally Mann is an American photographer born in Lexington, Virginia, 1951. A lot of her images are quite dark looking and I think have been taken to shock the viewer.
